Student Activities, Clubs and Competitions

Student clubs and activities offer you excellent networking opportunities, team building activities and leadership chances, as well as social events during your time at Goodman. Involvement in these activities looks great on your resume and offer you a chance to be part of your community.

We encourage you to become involved with a variety of activities during your time at Goodman as a way to enhance your graduate experience.
 
Graduate Clubs for Business Students
The GBC is the representative body for both full time and part time students enrolled in our programs. Their goal is to enhance your student experience during your time at Goodman.
 
Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS)
Beta Gamma Sigma is an international honour society exclusively for AACSB accredited schools. Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest honour a business student anywhere in the world can achieve. Graduate students in the top 10% of their class are invited to join BGS.
 
Non Business Clubs
In addition to your involvement with the Goodman community, we encourage you to get involved with the activities offered by the University. The Brock University Student's Union (BUSU) is a valuable resource during your time at Brock.

Financial Post Stock Market Challenge (Fall & Winter)

An online challenge that puts your investing skills up against MBA students from across Canada.
      
MBA Games
The National MBA games are a Canadian wide competition that bring together MBA students from across Canada for academic, athletic, and spirit competitions. We will be sending our third team to the completion in January 2010. 
 

John Molson Case Competition 
The John Molson Case Competition is among the most respected business case competitions and is open to top business schools world wide. Its purpose is to bridge the gap between the corporate and academic worlds. The Brock MBA team was the top ranked Canadian School in the 2009 Competition
