Brock red? How about Brock green? It’s not a stretch thanks to the University’s greening efforts, which recently netted a Horizon Utilities Energy Excellence Award for demonstrating a commitment to reducing demand for electricity and becoming more energy efficient.
Parts of Brock University will go dark tomorrow (Saturday, March 23) from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. in support of Earth Hour.

The Standard “Green Team” interviews Richard Mitchell, co-chair of Brock’s sustainability co-ordinating committee, about the University’s carbon audit. The four-month study comes after two years of research by Mitchell, who is also a Child and Youth Studies professor, and the student-led Ontario Public Interest Research Group.
