Everyone needs a study buddy. And though he may not know quantum physics or be familiar with Emile Durkheim, Buddy, an eight-year-old Bichon Frise, does have a knack for lowering stress, offering unconditional love and being just plain cute.
To help students cope with the stress of writing finals, Brock University Students’ Union and Student Health Services are providing some four-legged relief by setting up a puppy room for students to visit with St. John Ambulance therapy dogs.
Those in need of a flu shot or finding other ways to get and stay healthy are in luck.
Health care professionals will be on hand to answer questions at the Health Fair and flu clinic on Nov. 7.
Wendy Matthews will bring her positive message to Brock with a talk on Oct. 5.
About 1,500 people attended the Health Fair co-ordinated by Student Health Services.
Student Health Services will host its annual Health Fair on Nov. 1.
Faculty and staff are welcome to book massage therapy appointments during May and June.
