This weekend will be a long one for many at Brock, with a President’s Day holiday June 30 and Canada Day July 1.

Visitor parking - Lot D will close at 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays beginning the weekend of June 27-28 through to the end of August. Weekday hours will remain unchanged.

Brock is hosting the annual Relay for Life event beginning Friday, June 20 through the morning of Saturday, June 21. Parking in some areas of campus will be restricted during that time.

Staff parking passes available online June 11

Brock staff will be able to snag their annual parking passes online starting next week. They will be available on Wednesday, June 11 at 10 a.m. by logging onto brocku.ca/parking (Online Services). Walk-up purchases will be available Monday, June 23 at 10 a.m. at the Parking Services office.

Parts of Brock to go dark Saturday for Earth Hour

Earth Hour is Saturday, March 29, from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. As in past years, parts of the University will go dark in support of this annual worldwide event. All of the lights in parking lots T, U and V, as well as the lights on the University’s main entrance sign, will go dark for the hour on Saturday night. The majority of non-emergency lights in the Cairns Family Health and Bioscience Research Complex will also be turned off. The same goes for the Walker Complex, Union Station

Earth Hour is this Saturday, March 29, from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. As in past years, parts of Brock will go dark on Saturday in support of the annual worldwide event. Next time you’re in the areas of St. Catharines or Thorold and the battery in your electric vehicle is running low roll into Brock University for a charge. The University recently installed its first electric vehicle charger (EVC) by the main entrance to the International Centre at its east campus in St. Catharines, Ont.
