Brock raises nearly $14,000 for Japan

The Brock community has raised $13,850 for relief efforts in Japan.

The University’s fundraising campaign benefited the work of the Canadian Red Cross in Japan, a country ravaged by an earthquake and tsunami on March 11. The country continues to suffer from earthquakes and problems with its nuclear power stations.

John Kaethler, director of International Services and Programs Abroad, is pleased with the efforts.

“It’s brought us together for a common cause, and we’ve learned a lot more about Japan,” he said.
