A longtime familiar face in Facilities Management is retiring at the end of this month.
Seby Farinacci, a member of Brock’s mechanical maintenance team for nearly 19 years, will work his last day at Brock this week.
Farinacci will miss “the people,” he said. “Brock is a great place to work.”
His wife, Carol-Ann, works at Brock too. She is the executive assistant to the Dean of Social Sciences. Farinacci also has two children, Kathy and Bradley, and three grandchildren.
With his newfound free time, he plans to golf, travel and work on antique cars, which is a passion for him. He also plans to do more volunteer work.
Farinacci’s most recent volunteer work involved being stationed at an information booth at the World Junior Hockey Championships in Buffalo earlier this month. Through that, he got to meet his favourite hockey player, Bobby Orr.
