Do you have a great start-up idea? Are you running a start up or building a team? Do you want to take your business idea or venture to the next level?

If so, you could be part of BioLinc’s Kick-Starting Entrepreneurship program.

The program, which targets Niagara youth, is now accepting applications from Niagara residents aged 18-29 to be part of the second cohort of the program.

The Kick-Starting Entrepreneurship program encourages participants to explore their innovative ideas and advance their early-stage entrepreneurial aspirations. It provides participants with two intensive training weekends, monthly seminars and events, plus mentorship and advisory services from BioLinc and Innovate Niagara, Niagara’s Regional Innovation Centre.

The young entrepreneurs from the first cohort of the program started in September 2015 and completed the program in March 2015. The first cohort of the program had an energetic group of Niagara youth working on business ideas and ventures from app development to help with networking, filmmaking, food delivery service, currency exchange and funeral planning.

Applications for the second cohort are currently being accepted until September 25.
