Brock selects marketing veteran for its new senior role

Brock University has named Gord Hunchak as its new Executive Director of Marketing and Communications.

The announcement was made today by Brian Hutchings, Brock’s Vice-President, Administration. Hunchak starts his role on Aug. 4, a new position created to oversee strategic planning and direction of the University’s marketing, branding and communications initiatives.

Hunchak’s career spans both the public and private sectors, and includes significant post-secondary experience. He led Niagara College’s marketing and communications efforts from 2007-2013, and was also its Acting Vice-President, Student and External Relations in 2011-2012.

Prior to joining Niagara College he was Vice-President, Marketing at Meridian Credit Union, and for the past two years has been a partner with Armstrong Strategy Group, a consultancy specializing in branding, marketing and strategic planning.
