A French delegation visited Brock last week to learn more about research at the university.

Olivier Audéoud, Scientific Counsellor from the French Embassy in Ottawa, and Christian Turquat, Scientific Attaché from the General Consulate of France in Toronto, were in St. Catharines on May 14 to learn about Brock research and look at possible partnerships between the university and France.

Their visit included a tour of the Brock Institute for Electrophysiological Research with Sidney Segalowitz, professor of Psychology. They also met with Debra Inglis, director of the Cool Climate Oenology and Viticulture Institute; Greg Finn, Associate Vice-President Academic and Vice Prevost; Ayda Tekok-Kilic, assistant professor, Child and Youth Studies; Duncan MacDonald, assistant professor, Visual Arts; Alexandre Amprimoz, professor, Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures, and Sheila Young, director of Brock International, which hosted the visitors.

In the afternoon, they met with Douglas Bruce, director of the Centre for Biotechnology, as well as representatives from Brock Research and the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
