Exchanging food for fines?

Not a bad alternative when it comes to reducing library penalties while at the same time helping students.

Brock University students, staff and faculty can participate in the Food for Fines campaign from Dec. 1-5.

For every non-perishable food item donation, participants will receive a $2 fine reduction, up to a maximum of $20.

Perishable, expired, dented or rusted goods will not be accepted.

All donations will go to the Brock University Student Justice Centre.

Credit only applies to fines assessed before Nov. 28.

For more information, email Barb Whittard or call x3254.
