Brock Facebook tip: Be smart

As registrations come in for the next academic year, Brock University is excited to be welcoming our incoming class.

We want our students to have the opportunity to meet and get to know each other before they arrive on campus. The best way to do this is to join our official Facebook group.

However, students are reminded to be very careful when posting any personal information online. There are reports of Facebook groups that are not officially administered by the University and whose intentions or affiliations are unclear. For instance, students should refrain from posting class schedules or residence room assignments online.

While Brock is a safe community, it is always prudent to keep your personal information private, for your own safety and peace of mind.

Incoming students should take care to join the Brock conversation.
