Grant writing workshop, June 11, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., AS202

The Office of the Vice-President Research and the Office of Research Services invite you to attend a special grant writing workshop led by grant writing expert Robert Porter.

The workshop will focus on key principles of successful grant writing and practical exercises where participants can sharpen their proposal writing skills and explore keys to a more powerful and persuasive writing style, how to avoid common pitfalls of grant writing, and how to write with the perspectives of grant reviewers in mind.

Session 1, “Writing Successful Grants,” will be held from 9 a.m. – 12 noon. Session 2, “Proposal Evaluation,” will be held from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
