Christine Daigle in the Department of Philosophy presented the paper “We are Polyps! Trans-subjectivity/Trans-objectivity”, at a research seminar at the School of Languages and Comparative Cultural Studies, University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia on Sept. 6, 2013.

Daigle also presented the paper “Re-thinking Subjectivtiy: Simone de Beauvoir’s Philosophy of Ambiguity,” at a philosophy seminar at the School of History, Philosophy, Religion and Classics, University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia, on Sept. 13, 2013.

Daigle presented the paper “Nietzsche as Phenomenologist - Reevaluating Consciousness,” at a philosophy seminar at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia on Sept. 24, 2013.

Fanny Dolansky, associate professor in the Department of Classics, delivered an invited talk called “Illness and anxiety in elite Roman households” at the University of Western Ontario on Sept. 27, 2013.
