Julia Zhu

Julia Zhu has been with the Co-op Programs Office for more than four years managing Business- and Economics-related co-op programs including the BBA, BBE and Econ, MBA, MAcc and MBE. One of her most important roles is to secure valuable co-op employment opportunities through developing and managing employment partnerships across various industries. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Economics from the University of British Columbia.

What do you like about your job?
As a relationship manager, I enjoy networking and relationship building with employers in various business functions and across different sectors. It is also very rewarding to witness our co-op students grow into successful young business professionals as a result of their co-op experience.

What do you do for fun?
Wine tastings, watching the Vancouver Canucks and, of course, travelling.

What was the last good book that you read?
Growing Up Digital: How the Net Generation is Changing Your World by Dan Tapscott.
