Pie, anyone? In honour of ?, the library will be serving pie on March 14.

Pie makes the world a better place.

And so does Pi.

In honour of that number that goes on ad infinitum but is better known as 3.14 or ? (Pi), the James A. Gibson Library’s data research services team will host the annual Brock University Pi Day celebration on Thursday, March 14 by serving pie.

Slices of the baked goodness will be dished out from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the Map Library, MC C306.

Pi Day is observed around the world on March 14 because it is the date equivalent of the ratio ? (approximately 3.14).

The free event, open to all, highlights the importance of numeracy, proving that numbers can be fun and delicious.
