Brock’s United Way campaign is holding a trivia night on Friday, Nov. 18.

Teams of eight will test their knowledge at Club Roma in St. Catharines. Proceeds will go to the United Way of St. Catharines and District.

There will also be a cash bar and silent auction.

The trivia night is the latest in a string of United Way fundraising events at Brock. Thirty-two participants raised $1,094.29 for the United Way during the new Halloween Fun Run on Oct. 31. The fastest time was Robert Hilson, director of Athletics, with 22:04.

Administrative staff on the 13th floor also held a gold party, and 15 per cent of the day’s proceeds went to United Way. That meant $1,143 to support the cause.

To reserve a table for the trivia night, call 905-688-5550 x3257. Teams of eight are $200. Individuals can buy tickets for $25 and will be placed on a team at the event. Tables can be reserved until Thursday, Nov. 10.

The goal of this year’s Brock United Way campaign is $115,000.
