Brock University administration and the Brock University Faculty Association (BUFA) have reached a tentative agreement on a new contract.

A joint statement issued by BUFA and by University officials said a tentative deal was reached today to renew the previous agreement which had expired earlier this summer on June 30.

Details regarding the new agreement will not be released until after both parties have ratified the agreement with their principals.

BUFA represents 560 faculty and professional librarian members at the University.

After the previous deal had expired, the parties continued to negotiate through the summer, and today’s deal came after an overnight negotiation that had begun the previous morning.
