Opening of term event celebrates Niagara’s harvest

Local food and beverages will take centre stage at the upcoming Tastes of Niagara event celebrating the dawn of a new school year.

The opening of term event will be Wednesday, Aug. 31 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Guernsey Market. Niagara farmers will be on hand to talk about their harvest and involvement with Brock. Dining Services chefs will discuss how they blend it all together. There will also be samples of Niagara beer and wine.

Tickets are $20 and available by calling 905-688-5550 x3257.
