The following is an update on the re-opening of Mackenzie Chown blocks B and E after a fire today in an electrical room on the fourth floor of B block.
Mackenzie Chown B block 400 level will remain closed until further notice.
Mackenzie Chown B block 300 level will re-open tomorrow (Feb. 1) at 12 noon.

Earlier today there was a fire in an electrical room on the fourth floor of B block in the Mackenzie Chown complex. The fire has been extinguished.
The Mackenzie Chown complex has been re-opened, but B block and E block will remain closed until at least 12 noon tomorrow (Tuesday, Feb. 1).
