Hill and Men’s rowing team named Athletes of the Week

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. – The Brock University female Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 31 is rower Teresa Hill (London, Ont.), while the men’s honour goes to the entire OUA Champion men’s rowing team.

LONDON, Ont. - The Brock Badgers men’s lacrosse team will advance to the CUFLA semi-finals after defeating the Western Mustangs 10-8 Sunday from TD Waterhouse Stadium. The Badger win avenges a loss against Western two weeks ago and advances them to the CUFLA semi-finals where they will take on Carleton later this week.

KINGSTON, Ont. - The Brock University women’s hockey team (5-2 OUA) continued their winning ways Sunday afternoon as they defeated the Queen’s Gaels in shootout by the score of 5-4. Senior goaltender Beth Clause (Hamilton, Ont.) reached two more career milestones recording her 6000th career minute played and became the first Brock goalie in school history to record 40 career victories.

OSHAWA, Ont. - The Brock University women’s hockey team improved to 4-2 on the season as they shutout the UOIT Ridgebacks 4-0 on the road Saturday afternoon. Senior Beth Clause reached another career milestone as she recorded her 3000th career save turning aside all 21 UOIT shots.

ST. CATHARINES, Ont.- The Brock University men’s rugby team defeated the Waterloo Warriors by the score of 29-10 in the OUA Quarter-Finals Saturday afternoon. The No. 4 ranked Badgers now advance to the OUA Semi-Finals where they will go up against the undefeated Western Mustangs.
