I would love to see the portrait of “The Old Voyageur”. My husband (and children) are related to Hippolette and Archange. We have a few family pictures including the one you have in your picture frame of Selina and Joseph.

My son found this site and sent it to me. Hippolette Brissette is his paternal 4th. great grandfather. He knew I would be interested since I am also researching this line for my husband. Unfortunately, I don't have access to the same information since we live in Nova Scotia.
Would you please let Mrs. Miller know (if she doesn't already know) that Hippolyte and his wife Archange are buried in unmarked graves in St. Ann's Roman Catholic Cemetery in Penetanguishene? Apparently, there was at one time a marker in his memory somewhere in Penetang.
Thank you for the story.
