Evelyn Smith is the help desk co-ordinator and data research assistant in the James A. Gibson Library, where she has worked for 26 years. She is also the voice of the library on Twitter and Facebook.

Kiel Ormerod has a challenging year ahead of him. Ormerod is the president of Brock’s Graduate Students’ Association (GSA). His executive leadership comes as the GSA continues to strengthen its voice on behalf of more than 1,500 masters and doctoral students enrolled in the University’s 41 graduate programs.
Judy Lacharity is a supervisor of student accounts in Financial and Administrative Services. She collects fees owed by students and other payments owed to the University for services rendered.
It was a take stock moment that Lynne Irion couldn’t ignore. The alumni relations co-ordinator was standing in the parking lot near the Plaza building and site of the Cairns Complex two years ago when she noticed she couldn’t see a single building that was on campus when she started working at Brock 22 years earlier.
Amanda Hemingway is the assistant to the President and the University’s events co-ordinator.
Chabriol Colebatch is Brock’s copyright co-ordinator and legal adviser. Since her arrival at Brock in January, Colebatch has been helping faculty and staff understand the dos and don’ts when it comes to copyright. She lives in Niagara Falls.

A retirement celebration lunch will be held for Irene Cherrington on Saturday, July 28.
Cherrington, an administrative assistant in the Department of Philosophy, is calling it a day on her current career after 41 years at Brock.
The celebratory lunch happens at noon and tickets are $12 per person.
