Good Morning Goodman continues this week with co-hosts Susan LeBlanc and Najlaa Rauf congratulating several students on representing the Goodman School of Business at recent competitions.
MBA students Kajsa Cirocco, Vera Li, Abdul Rahimi and Yanqi Wang competed at the John Molson MBA International Case Competition last week, while over 40 MBA students competed at MBA Games hosted by York University’s Schulich School of Business.
At the undergraduate level, over 40 BBA and BAcc students competed at JDC Central in Toronto this past weekend and competed in academics, debate, sports, and social categories.
This coming weekend is also a busy one for Goodman students, with several students competing at DECA U Provincials in Toronto. Goodman undergraduate students James Fioretti, Ashley Howard and Deeksha Sharma will be competing in the Global Family Enterprise Case Competition hosted by University of Vermont’s Grossman School of Business, and Holly Arruda, Mitch Minor, Sean Bouwers and Bryan Dizon will compete in the final round of the Inter-Collegiate Business Competition hosted by Queen’s University in Kingston, Ont.
Students are reminded that the Goodman Experience event is taking place on Tuesday, Jan. 12 in the Scotiabank Atrium from 1-4 p.m. Mallory Rellinger from CPA Ontario will be on campus on Thursday, Jan. 14 holding office hours. Students interested in learning more about the CPA designation can register on the CPA Ontario website. Registration is now open for the How to Get a Job in Accounting and How to Get a Job in Sales and Marketing events which are scheduled for later this month.
