‘It All Adds Up’ campaign launched

A campaign that encourages Brock students to reflect on the activities they are involved in runs this week.

The It All Adds Up Instagram campaign, organized by Career Services’, helps students reflect on their activities and interests, inside and outside of the classroom. It is meant to remind students that what they are doing is “adding up” as well as leading to their career or personal goals.

The campaign aims to positively impact students’ career stress by challenging the idea that they must always “add more and do more” to be successful. It All Adds Up encourages students to instead add up what they are already doing so that they can then start to make decisions that make sense for them.

Students are asked to participate by:

  1. Having a photo of yourself taken with a few of your “It All Adds Up” activities/characteristics written on a chalkboard or whiteboard behind you (see below for photo booth hours and locations).
  1. Upload the photo to Instagram and tag it using the #ItAllAddsUp and #BrockU hashtags.

The It All Adds Up Campaign officially launched on Nov. 2 and will run until Friday, Nov. 6.  It will also continue throughout the year and include Career Services’ “Make it Happen” campaign in the winter term.

Booth times and locations are:

Wednesday, Nov. 4 — MCA Hallway 8:30-11 a.m.

Thursday, Nov. 5 — Computer Commons by the Ramp 8:30 a.m.- 2 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 6 — MCA Hallway 9-11 a.m.
