Students trick or treating for canned goods instead of candy

On Halloween, Student Life and Community Experience is hosting Trick or Eat, an annual event that sees students going door-to-door in the St. Catharines and Thorold communities collecting canned goods.

The donations will be split to support Community Care of St.Catharines and Thorold as well as the Student Justice Centre’s campus food bank.

The event is open to the entire Brock community and since it takes place on Halloween, costumes are encouraged. Registration will begin at 4:30 p.m. in the Schmon Tower lobby and the food drive will take place in the community from 4:45-7 p.m.

The goal for this year is to gather 2,000 lbs. of food donations for the community.

If you would like to sign-up individually or as a group/team, visit the event page in experiencebu.brocku.ca. If you are not able to participate on Oct. 31 but would like to contribute, donations are appreciated.

Please contact Student Life by e-mail at studentlife@brocku.ca or stop into the office in MCA204 with any questions or for more information.
