Farmers market and Wellness Day meet in Jubilee Court Thursday

Spring is on the menu Thursday at the farmers market.

Snow peas, beets, tomatoes, rhubarb, mixed greens, garlic scapes, head lettuce and radishes grown by Niagara College horticulture students are just some of the seasonal offerings that will be available at the market.

Sarah Hicks has a $10-gift certificate to spend stocking up on whatever she’d like.

If that happens to be something maple, good news. White Meadows Farms is back with its maple treats again this week.

Market day is also Wellness Day, which means lunch for all participants is in Jubilee Court, weather dependent. The Wellness Day menu will replace the weekly barbecue. Should it rain, lunch will happen in Market Hall instead.

The Brock farmers market runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
