Trade you a sunflower for some sorrel? Annual plant exchange returns

home herb`s garden

Perhaps in the deepest, darkest depths of winter, you seeded too many tomato plants in the hope it would make spring come sooner, and now you are overrun.

Or maybe you’ve finally decided to split that unruly hosta but you prefer filling the new gaps in your garden with coral bells rather than that hosta’s leafy offshoots.

Digg at Brock has a solution for your burgeoning plant population: its annual plant exchange.

People with plants to contribute to the exchange can drop them off to the Brock community garden Tuesday, May 19 to Thursday, May 21 between 8 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The garden is located next to Theal House, near Zone 2 parking.

Plants can also be dropped off on Friday, May 22 at Schmon Tower betwee 8 a.m. and noon.

Contributors can return to swap their contributions for something new from noon to 4:30 p.m.
