More than 40 international graudate students visited with St. Catharines Mayor Brian McMullan at city recently.

St. Catharines Mayor Brian McMullan recently hosted a reception for Brock University’s international graduate students to recognize the cultural impact that they have on the local community.

More than 40 Brock international graduate students attended the event at city hall.

Mayor McMullan welcomed the international students, gave them a tour of council chamber, spoke about the history of St Catharines.

Arthur Chen, manager of International Student Services, said the students were so excited to visit with the mayor and to learn about the city and region.

Chen added the hope is to have similar events at city hall in the future.
