Sport management Prof. Cheri Bradish will receive the 2013 Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching from the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences.

Bradish’s leadership in the development of the Sport Management program stood out for the committee selecting this year’s winner.

She continues to develop opportunities for students to apply what they’re learning with various individuals and professionals working in the field.

Bradish was instrumental in establishing an alumni advisory board that connects current students with graduates working in the sport industry. The board came together for two successful networking events this past year. More events are in the works.

Bradish will receive the award at convocation in June.
