Pianist takes stage in cultural leader series

Leading Canadian pianist Robert Silverman will be tickling the ivories in the latest Walker Cultural Leader Series lecture and recital.

Silverman, also a professor emeritus at the University of British Columbia, will present Hammering the Klavier: Beethoven’s Earthshaking and Bone-crushing Masterpiece at the Sean O’Sullivan Theatre on Friday, Jan. 11 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $15 or $5 for students. Students of the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts get in free.
