Brock Niagara Penguins will host wheelchair basketball tournament

The Brock Niagara Penguins will host a wheelchair basketball tournament this weekend, showcasing six teams from across southern Ontario.

More than 100 athletes will gather at Gym 2 in the Walker Complex, including the Penguins. The other teams will be Twin City Spinner (Kitchener), Burlington Vipers, Brampton Cruisers, Variety Village Rebels and London Flash.

Two Physical Education students, Graeme Hogg and Jesse Roest, will also have a table at the day-long tournament to promote their bicycle trip from Ottawa to Charlottetown, PEI. The trip will raise money for the Penguins for registration fees and equipment.
