Computer Science holds fair for high school students

Brock is hosting a Computer Science Fair next week aimed at getting high school students interested in computer science.

About 90 students will attend the Department of Computer Science event Dec. 9. The fair is part of Computer Science Education Week and will include hands-on sessions led by faculty and senior students.

Students will learn about game development systems, robotics and computer programming, making and breaking classical codes, producing music on a computer and creating motion graphics with Adobe Flash.

Computer Science Education Week is from Dec. 5 to 11. The initiative exposes students, particularly those from kindergarten to Grade 12, to computer science education.
