Andy Morgan stands in the server room, a secured, climate-controlled space with dozens of servers that hold brocku.ca websites, email messages and other data.

Andy Morgan is manager of the Project Management Office in Information Technology Services. He has worked at Brock since 1988. He lives in Niagara Falls with his wife, two children, and dog Sydney.

What do you like about your job?

My job gives me the opportunity to work closely with some very interesting people. On a regular basis I am faced with new challenges that make coming to work exciting and rewarding. Lucky is the person who can find pleasure in going to work each day. I started at Brock in Client Services, then a few years in the Systems Group, then to the manager of the Web Development Group and the Unix Support Group and finally where I sit now, in the Project Management Office. Rarely are two days the same for me. I have always felt lucky to be part of the team that that supports students as they come to Brock University to learn and grow.

What do you do for fun?

I enjoy spending time with my family, watching my children play sports, fishing in our boat and playing guitar.

Where did you go on your last vacation?

Our last vacation was a week up north on Lovesick Lake in the Kawarthas. We fished, wake boarded, cruised the locks of the Trent Canal, visited friends, and ate.  A good time was had by all.
