An international maker of printers and scanners has donated 20 LCD projectors for Faculty of Education students.

Epson Canada Ltd. donated 10 projectors for the St. Catharines campus and 10 for Hamilton to be used by teacher candidates during practicum placements.

The donation resulted from an annual teaching and technology conference at the Hamilton campus for teacher education students and practicing teachers. The conference is called Teaching and Technology — A Collaborative Educational Showcase.

The next conference will be Jan. 28, 2011.
