Photoshop, Illustrator taught in new courses

The following courses are available this spring from Brock Continuing Education:

Photoshop Basics
Learn Photoshop in this exciting project-based course. Explore the concept and process of digital collage, manipulate and correct your digital images. Expand your digital horizons and stimulate creativity, beyond your imagination. Learn what the professionals know and create digital art using your own effects and personal brushes.
When: Thursday, April 15 to May 13, 6:30 to 9 p.m.
Where: Brock University Mac Lab
Cost: $159/$149 (senior) +GST

Adobe Illustrator
Illustrator CS is the industry standard vector-based illustrating tool. It’s used throughout the world to create a vast variety of different print media from illustrations to package design. Learn to create interesting and unique illustrations. This course is an introduction to the fundamental tools and techniques of Adobe Illustrator® for print media; highlighting what you need to create high-quality line art and special effects for logos and other artwork.
When: Wednesday, April 14 to May 12, 6:30 to 9 p.m.
Where: Brock University Mac Lab
Cost: $159/$149 (senior)

Instructor Aldo Parrotta has enhanced and honed his love of art and design in traditional art, life drawing, sketching, drawing, painting and typography, as well as graphic design, layout and digital photography.
