Media Talk: Debating the sense of a 75-cent increase

Felice Martinello, professor of Economics, was quoted in the St. Catharines Standard story “Debating the sense of a 75-cent increase” on April 1. Martinello is quoted as saying that with minimum wage rising, over time there may be less work for groups of workers affected by those wages, or employers may demand more from their workers. The article also appeared in the Welland Tribune.
