Joseph Kushner, professor of Economics, is quoted in the Dec. 10 National Post article Canadian cities spared Christmas tree downsizing, about American towns trimming their Christmas decorating budgets. In the article, he said public Christmas trees are a cherished tradition in Canada that won’t easily be threatened by funding cuts.
