Rudi Kroeker

Mr. Kroeker graduated from the University of Waterloo in Electrical Engineering. Mr. Kroeker is President and CEO of Whiting Equipment Canada Inc., diversified designers and manufacturers of heavy industrial equipment, based in Welland, Ontario. He oversees Whiting Transportation Corp., of Niagara Falls, N.Y. and Whiting Equipment Services Co. Ltd. He is Chairman and CEO of Zhejiang NAMAG Equipment Manufacturing Co. Ltd. located in Tongxiang, P.R. Chine, and director of Swenson Technology Inc. in Monee, Illinois.

Prior to joining Whiting, Mr. Kroeker held managerial and executive positions at General Motors Diesel Division, Ford Essex Engine Plant, NAVISTAR International Corp., AMCAN Castings Limited, GSW Water Products Co., Hamilton Gear & Machine Co. and Compro Ltd.

Mr. Kroeker is an Honourary Citizen of Tongxiang, P.R. China; Senior Honourary Member of the Tongxiang Society of Mechanical & Electrical Engineers; a recipient of the West Lake Friendship Medal, Zhejiang Province, the South Lake Friendship Medal, Zhejiang Jaixing and the Royal Bank Business Initiative Award, and holds a July 4th US patent.

Mr. Kroeker is a past Director of the Institute for Improvement in Quality & Productivity, Past Vice-Chairman of the Welland Development Commission, Past Chairman for the Niagara Economic Development Corporation, Past Vice-Chairman of the World Trade Center, Buffalo Niagara, and served on the Canada-Korea Business Council.

Mr. Kroeker and his wife Yvette have three children: Adam, Erik and Martha who are graduate students at the Universities of Leicester, Illinois, and Toronto.
