Research

My research focuses on sport fans, particularly those having experiences that fall outside of the standard frameworks put forward by other sport management researchers who have attempted to classify fans. I have studied fans who have switched allegiances from one team to another, fans who have been left behind after their favourite team relocated to a new city, and fans who have rejected their home-town team to instead cheer for a team based in a far-away city.
