Applied Health Sciences - Sport Management

My research interests focus on the business of sport (sport finance). I am interested in understanding how sport organizations can increase operational capacity.

Specifically, I have focused a lot of my recent research on the sustainability of sport enterprises using Triple Bottom Line (TBL) theory. Here, understanding how to maximize capacity and make sport organizations sustainable from a financial, environmental, and social perspective is the mandate.

Further, I am interested in how these sport organizations operate in a sustainable manner and integrate this into their brand management practices.

Particular sport contexts that I am interested in include the Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS), the sport of hockey (grassroots to professional; domestic to international), the sport of golf, and the management of other small sport enterprises (i.e., sport facilities, sport events etc.)
