Research
My research interests are quite diverse but the underlying thread of all my work (research, teaching and activism) has been a concern with marginalization and power in society.
The main three elements of my research agenda are:
- Social History of Travel and Leisure;
- Leisure as Resistance: Craftivism; and
- Sociocultural aspects of HIV Pandemic: stigma, pregnancy planning.
