My research interests focus on the impact of leisure in the experience of posttraumatic growth, happiness, and quality of life for people with illnesses and disabilities. More specifically, I possesses a keen interest of the role of meaningful engagement in activities and volunteering in the daily lives of people with physical disablities. My accumulated studies highlighted the importance of meaningful family and social relationships, meaningful engagement in activities, appreciation for life, and positive life experiences.
