Research

My research interests involve understanding health behaviour decision-making and the development and evaluation of theory-based health promotion interventions . I am currently focusing on father involvment in the young family, especially when the mother is breastfeeding. Another focus is the impact of social influence on health behaviour, including the influence of family members and social groups. I have conducted research using the Reasons Model and the Theory of Planned Behavior.
