Research
The Electromyographic Kinesiology Laboratory integrates biomechanical and electrophysiological techniques to understand how the nervous system controls and regulates muscle force. The primary application is the interaction between motor learning and segmental reflexes to facilitate weak muscle contractions during therapeutic resistive exercise in physical medicine and rehabilitation.

My publications are easily searched on PubMed or Google Scholar using key-words such as “muscle” or “EMG”.  The search will also show active areas of interest in: measurement issues in sEMG and psychological factors involved in strength assessment.
