Registration for the 13th Canadian Congress on Leisure Research is now live! CCLR 13 begins on Wednesday May 18th and concludes on Saturday May 21st. Register on or before March 31st, 2011 to take advantage of the early bird rates ($415.00 + HST for regular delegates, $225.00 + HST for student delegates). Enjoy the keynote addresses from Dr. Chris Cashel (Oklahoma State University), Dr. Lynn Anderson (State University of New York at Cortland), Dr. Robert Vallerand (Université du Québec à Montréal) & John de Graaf (Take Back Your Time). Abstracts from over 100 leisure researchers have been received and accepted. Entertainment includes a Wine & Cheese Fireside Chat & Reception featuring Dr. Sue Shaw (University of Waterloo), Dr. Allison Pedlar (University of Waterloo), Dr. Don Reid (University of Guelph) & Dr. Tim Burton (University of Alberta).

Brock University faculty from the Department of Recreation & Leisure Studies invites all attendees to participate in one of the hosted dinners taking place on Thursday May 19th. Our faculty will arrange and host an evening of food and delight and the many hidden culinary gems in the Niagara region. Registration for the hosted dinners will take place at the Congress (first come, first serve).

Also feel free to enjoy the wonderful springtime in Niagara. There will be plenty to do and see on our Canadian Victoria Day long weekend.
