Program Description:

Kinesiology is a science that studies the human body, and how it moves and functions. The current interest in this discipline reflects a growing understanding about how exercise affects overall health.

This bioscience degree is designed for students who wish to concentrate on the science of human movement and will prepare you to meet the requirements for post-graduate degree programs in biophysical kinesiology.
Our curriculum focuses on the biophysical science of human movement and includes Kinesiology, Physics, Chemistry and Neuroscience, with an emphasis on research skills and theoretical knowledge.



Our graduates have gone on to careers in:
  • rehabilitation and athletic therapy
  • coaching
  • sport psychology
  • exercise prescription and programming
  • fitness and athletic performance assessment
  • exercise science research
  • Kinesiology

Entrance Requirements:
Required 4U Subjects: English (ENG4U), Advanced Functions (MHF4U) (min.70%) or Calculus and Vectors (MCV4U)* (min. 70%), Biology (SBI4U).
Strongly recommended subject: Physics (SPH4U), Exercise Science (PSE4U), Chemistry (SCH4U).

Low 80s
