Additional Alumni Student Awards

Many Brock alumni choose to continue the legacy of the University by supporting student awards. Below is a list of some student awards that have been established by alumni and friends in the name iof the Alumni Association. All awards are administered through the Student Awards and Financial Aid Office (SAFA) and can be applied for online through the SAFA website.

Brock University Alumni Association Entrance Award
This award is presented annually to a child or sibling of a Brock University Alumni Association member entering Brock University in a first undergraduate degree. The recipient must demonstrate leadership within community and possess a minimum 80 percent admission average. Applications are available online
 

Dr. Alan Earp Alumni Scholarship
Established by the Brock Alumni Association in 1988, this Scholarship is awarded to a student with a record of academic excellence. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and meet Ontario residency requirements. Applications are available online.
 

Alumni CCOVI Scholarship
Established through a donation by the Alumni Association. This scholarship is awarded annually to an applicant to the Certificate program at the Cool Climate Oenology and Viticulture Institute in their first year of study; the applicant is to be a member of the Brock University Alumni Association with a minimum 75% average. If there are no candidates who satisfy the above in any given academic year then the award will be made to an applicant to the Certificate program in their first year who has graduated from a recognized university with a minimum 75% average. If there are no candidates who satisfy the above in any given academic year then the award will be made to a student in their second year of study in the BSc OEVI Program who has maintained a 75% average in their first year of study. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and meet Ontario residency requirements. Applications are available online.
 

Alumni Scholarships
Established through a donation by the Brock Alumni Association these six Scholarships are awarded annually. The award amount to be divided at the discretion of senate, to upper-year students with records of academic excellence. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and meet Ontario residency requirements. Applications are available online.
 

Brock Alumni Honours Bursary
Two awards in the amount of $1,000 each will be made annually to honour students (students in their 4th year) in any discipline. Preference will be given each year to one qualified Brock University Student Ambassador applicant. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and meet Ontario residency requirements to be eligible for this bursary. The award will be made on these terms by the Brock University Senate Committee on Awards and Bursaries, based on the recommendation of the Bursary Officer Applications are available online.
 

Brock Alumni Honours Scholarships
Four awards will be made annually to honours students entering their 4th year of study, in any discipline based on academic achievement. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and meet Ontario residency requirements to be eligible for this scholarship. The award will be made on these terms by the Brock University Senate Committee on Awards and Bursaries, based on the recommendation of the Scholarships and Awards Officer Applications are available online.
