Accessible information and communication

General information about the Ontario government’s proposed Accessible Information and Communication Standard is available at the Ministry of Community and Social Services.

On May 31, 2010 the Ontario government announced that it would integrate three standards into one regulation — the Proposed Integrated Accessibility Regulation under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005. This proposed regulation is intended to align and phase-in requirements of the information and communications, employment and transportation accessibility standards.
