Brock University is located atop the Niagara Escarpment in Ontario’s Niagara peninsula. With 17,000 full-time students and nearly 600 faculty, Brock is buzzing with activity and welcoming visitors to the campus every day.

Brock is in St. Catharines, Ontario. Located within an hour’s drive of Toronto, Hamilton, and Buffalo, N.Y., Brock is easily accessible and close to major attractions, airports, and shopping.

Brock’s campus is small and interconnected, with the feel of a small community – you could walk from one end of campus to the other in less than 10 minutes. And you’ll always know where you are at Brock. Just look up! The Schmon Tower stands 13 stories and can be seen from almost every location on campus, and St. Catharines for that matter.

Visit Niagara

Brock University is situated in the Niagara Peninsula, home of natural beauty and world-famous attractions. When you visit our campus, leave yourself some time to explore the features our broader region has to offer.
 
Niagara is framed by Lake Ontario, Lake Erie and the Niagara River. The escarpment cuts dramatically across the region, with the Bruce Trail following its miles of majestic vistas. 
 
The peninsula has a population of 427,000 — but more than 12 million visitors come to Niagara every year.
 
Niagara’s towns and cities include St. Catharines, Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Welland, Thorold, Port Colborne, Fort Erie, Grimsby and Lincoln. It also has the rural municipalities of Wainfleet and West Lincoln.
 
The University enthusiastically interacts with our community. For instance, Brock officials helped write the area’s economic development strategy, and the University’s Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts will be moving from our campus into a stunning new development in downtown St. Catharines.
 
Niagara has plenty to offer
 
Niagara is the heart of Ontario’s vineyard country, and you can enjoy the culinary and wine trail. (Brock graduates from the Oenology and Viticulture program contribute to the international acclaim of our local vintages.) Our agricultural bounty can be seen at fall fairs, farmers’ markets and fine dining establishments.
 
And, being located in the cradle of Canadian history, our region is dotted with landmarks that recognize a nation’s story and celebrate our heritage figures. This includes the University's namesake, Maj.-Gen. Sir Isaac Brock.

Campus Tours

Plan a visit to our beautiful campus and discover the Brock experience for yourself. All tours are lead by Brock students.  The tours start at the Recruitment & Liaison Office and visit interesting areas like lecture halls, residences, recreational areas and student meeting spaces.

Campus tours are offered Monday to Friday at 10 a.m. or 2 p.m. They take about 1.25 hours. Free parking is available for tour guests. For more information, visit experience.brocku.ca
