David Petis, Vice-President, Advancement

David Petis joined Brock in August 2007 as Vice-President, Advancement.

As the University’s chief development officer, he oversees an integrated program of marketing, communications, media and public relations, government relations, advancement services, alumni relations as well as development and donor relations.

Petis has more than 20 years of experience in development, institutional advancement, external relations and fundraising. Prior to his arrival at Brock, he held increasingly senior positions at the University of Western Ontario, York University, the University of British Columbia and the University of Alberta, where he was Assistant Dean of Engineering (External Relations) for seven years.
